ACHILLES SURGERY UPDATE : The hubs went to the surgeon yesterday to follow up on his surgery. He was placed in a cast and his surgical areas were examined and the surgeon said he was healing well. So at least we are onto the next phase in healing and recovery and I have to say Howard has been a great patient so far. I know it hasn't been easy for him but he is doing really well. He is using a Knee rover scooter that is helping with mobility and not putting any weight on the right leg. I think we both love the Knee rover scooter. It adds stability you cannot get with crutches.

We were lucky enough to spend a little time with Jeremy this past weekend. We grilled chicken and had baked potatoes, black eyed peas, grilled asparagus with lemon and peach cobbler for desert. It was really good! It's always nice to spend time with family; even when it's never long enough.
OCTOBER 20, 2018 : There's something so very special watching your child grow into a mature, productive adult. My baby girl is serving our Country in the United States Army. I am so very proud of her desire to serve. Actually my youngest son is also serving our Country in the United States Marine Corp. However this is about Alisha graduating college. She attended Grand Canyon University. I was highly impressed with the university's time spent on their online graduation class. They made it a very special weekend for the graduates and their families. As my daughter was serving her country she was also able to finish her degree. She is now preparing to separate from the Army and is planning to pursue a Law degree. She will take her LSAT this summer. So wish her luck and good studying!
